Welcome to KS Secondary School

Inspiring and empowering the next generation to discover their unique purpose, access their inner drivers and lead with impact.

The King Solomon Lower Secondary School focuses on assisting each individual pupil to identify his/her strengths and weaknesses, to discover his/her personal purpose, and to acquire the relevant skills for success. With an emphasis on the formulation of identity as an individual, a Jew, an Israeli and a global citizen, our dynamic programme is built simultaneously upon our unwavering core values and the constantly evolving skills that are required for success in an unpredictable world. Our curriculum synthesises our national curriculum together with Global perspectives, strengthening the national identity of our pupils while expanding their worldview . We strengthen the values and the skills of our developing pupils, and uncover their passions from within. In so doing, we provide them with the motivation, the direction and the ability to become the  best versions of themselves as they begin to assume their  places as leaders of impact.

Our core programme places an emphasis on values, skills and passions. Moving away from viewing education as the process of transmission of material and content  to one of modeling strong core values, empowering our pupils with critical skills for success and accessing their unique passions and interests.

Electives and enrichment:

Electives and Enrichment courses are offered according to the interests, passions and talents of the pupil body, and provide the opportunity for pupils to interact with peers from other grades as they pursue their passions in an experiential and dynamic learning environment.

Beit Midrash Programme:

The King Solomon Community is unique in that it is composed of Jewish pupils of diverse backgrounds who share common values. Our entire programme is built with respect to  and tolerance for pupils with differing levels of observance while embracing the common values that unite us as a community.

Our Beit Midrash programme aims to offer our pupils the option of engaging in an inspiring  and dynamic Jewish Learning experience, expanding our basic Jewish knowledge and exposing our pupils to classic Jewish texts. We would like our pupils to experience the magic of  the Beit Midrash and illicit their curiosity to choose to continue to make Torah study an integral part of their futures.

The BMP runs as optional bi – weekly  programme that takes place at school from 15:30 – 17:00on Thursdays. The experience includes a frontal class, chavruta study, an experiential or interactive component as well as refreshments.
